“Carey Zipperer was a one of a kind person. He meant a lot to the community at 17 years old. There are a lot of friends and family that are here every day to honor him. It’s just a great way to get together and honor Carey, and it’s a great way to help a young man attend Benedictine.”

After the sudden and tragic death of Carey, the Carey Zipperer Memorial Scholarship was established at Benedictine Military School. The money raised in the golf tournament will be used to fund the scholarship that will be awarded to a BC student by the Zipperer family on Honors Day in May
